A transaction is addressed by its reference in the path. The query addressed form returns an identical payload and continues to work until the sunset date.

Move to GET /v1/transactions/{reference}. The response shape is unchanged.
Sunset
Two paths to the same resource complicate caching and client routing without offering a choice worth making. The path addressed form is the one carried forward.
The deprecated form is unchanged until the sunset date, after which it returns 404.
